That’s why enrolling in this private, nonprofit University is easy — we maintain a rolling admissions policy meaning there are no official application deadlines.
With a generous transfer credit policy and student-focused faculty, we’re here to help you make transferring colleges as simple as possible.
And, with a global network of campuses, we offer opportunities to study abroad and expand your perspective.

Achieve Individual Excellence with a Fresh Start
Webster Leiden welcomes dozens of transfer students every year, many coming from universities in the Netherlands and across the globe. Webster offers small class sizes, personalized experience and unique academic programs, leading to potential internship and career opportunities for our graduates.
Whether you're looking to move to the Netherlands, to change your major or if your original university was just not the right fit to allow you to reach your potential, Webster invites you to reboot your university career with us.

Transfer Credits and GPA
We recognize transfer credits from institutionally-accredited universities worldwide, and Webster allows some transfer students to also bring advanced standing credits from high school programs like the IB diploma courses, A-levels or AP exams, for example — all of which can reduce the time to complete the bachelor program.
As a transfer student, you will also benefit from beginning with a new grade point average: your GPA at graduation will only reflect your courses earned at Webster Leiden. Our academic advisors will be here to coach and mentor you through your course selection, as you adjust to the campus and new Webster curriculum, and you'll benefit from the support of career services from day one.
We can provide you with an assessment of your transferable credits as you explore options and think about a fresh start.

Undergraduate Transfer Admissions Information
Introduction
At Webster Leiden, we understand that flexibility matters—especially for transfer students. That’s why our academic calendar is designed with multiple entry points throughout the year: August, October, January or March. With both full-semester (16-week) and half-term (8-week) course options, students have multiple start dates that they can choose from to start their studies.
We accept applications year-round and follow a rolling admissions process. Once your application and all supporting documents are submitted, you can expect a decision within approximately 10 to 14 days.
Application Deadline
The application deadline varies based on which term you are applying for, and whether or not you need a Visa or Residence Permit to study in the Netherlands.
Students who require a Visa to study in the Netherlands must apply no later than 3 months before the program start date. Students who only require a Residence Permit, or who are EU passport holders, must apply no later than 1 month before the program start date.
If you are unsure which application deadline applies to you, please contact the Admissions Department at admissions@webster.nl.
