Students Present Keystone Projects

The second Keystone course on the Webster Geneva Campus, Innovation and Creativity, finished its work by pitching three projects to an audience of administrators, staff, faculty and student government. Two involved the Geneva campus directly: plans for an app to serve local student needs, and seven suggestions to make use of the campus’ outdoor spaces, bringing students closer to nature.

Students working on the third project presented a variety of low-cost, do-it-yourself devices for increasing the volume and improving the sound quality of music played from smart phones. You would be amazed at how a cleverly cut Pringles can or some newspaper and tape can beef up your sound! With a bit more effort, medium fidelity can be achieved with the UFO reflective amplifier (pictured).
